Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can

Twenty Twenty WON has been a rollercoaster; following on from the start of the new decade, 2021, or as I have heard it dubbed, 2020 – The Sequel, this year has been another period of cleansing, shedding and evolution, seeing old patterns, systems and habits break away, whether we like it or not.

Be it a choice of our own, or the choice of others, it doesn’t always come easy as we try to find balance in what is and let go of what was. That of course can leave us feeling lost, stuck, angry and even afraid to move forward into the unknow but as scary as this may feel, I want to remind you that this is where the excitement also lies.

Beauty and the beastly shift

By shifting and observing from the other perspective, there is so much to gain. You can become the creator of the life and world you want to see. If you allow yourself to escape old shackles and dream a new dream, that is the beauty and the silver lining that overrides the fear eventually. We can chose our thoughts and we can choose to see Twenty Twenty Won for all that it really is.

The truth is; the only time you have is now. The last moment is gone and you can never get that back. Tomorrow has not come yet and so what you have, is now, and that is plenty to move forward and start taking action. If you have breath, you are not done yet. You can use the cards you have been dealt in life and use them to your advantage. Looking at what isn’t working will keep you stuck, but looking at what IS, can free you and allow more ideas, possibilities and freedom to flow through you. Start where you are, use what you have and do what you can. When you do this, you will see the overflow of gifts and possibilities to use.

  1. Become still and ask for clarity on what you DO want. Through quiet time, prayer or meditation, this may come immediately or over time, just know there is no rush. The point is to take time alone and be clear on what is no longer serving you. What you want will come and the more you practice stillness, the more the answers will come to you
  2. Ask for help. When you start to have clarity on what you want, you can start asking for help you need. Maybe that is more guidance and signs for clarity on your direction, perhaps it’s coaching or accountability to get there. Whatever you need, don’t be afraid to ask for help and be open to the many forms it may come, be it from friends, family, money or other opportunity coming your way.
  3. Reflect on your current status regularly – create a win list for the month and tally up the things you have been able to achieve, no matter how small. Keep it somewhere visible such as your bed side table or on your fridge so that is a visual reminder that you will see everyday and keep you motivated.

Need more support? No problem, let’s talk. No matter what though, start where you are, use what you have and do what you can.
